Here are the pieces during painting with oil paints low odour white spirit and silicone sealer, the colours were quite translucent and so I built up a couple of layers however I did not want to create dark coloured flowers I needed them to be pastel and soft.

I managed to do the best job I could with encapsulating the pieces, the large rose did not work and fell apart when demoulding. Where there were undercuts on the sculpt the silicone ran under into them and formed a layer over the petels which meant I would not be able to encapsulate them, I cut away the surface of the mould so that the silcone could pour in and pieces could be encapsulated this however meant that the petels were really thick expecially the lily which I was not happy with. I could not re sculpt all the pieces and re run as I had quickly run out of silicone before the shoot day therefore had to apply the pieces the best I could.

I sculpted various flowes using small rake tools and texture tools, I shaped the petels with my fingers first before blending them onto the tile.

I sculpted the flowers wrong and did not think about moulding and de moulding. I should have sculpted the flowers onto a flat layer of clay rather than do individual flowers. I did not think about the demoulding as when I did eventually de mould the petal space was so small that i was not able to encapsulate the pieces properly and also the silicone did not pour right into all the areas.
