Initial Professional Make-Up Project Mood Boards
I am looking to create three sets of images that work together to display the beauty of nature and of mankind seperately and the destruction of nature when the two come together.
This first mood board will inform the make-up look surrounding the destruction of nature by man kind.
The idea behind this is that mankind has is taking the animals away from their habitat so I would like to create an image that somewhat gives the impression of hunting animals for personal use.
The mood board consists of various large feathered pieces, some large horns and heavy eye makeup.
The third idea for the look is a nature themed shoot, the looks on this mood board consist of lots of flowers, branches, leaves and butterflies. This is supposed to represent how beautiful and peaceful nature is, it is going to appear opposite to the cyborg look with no harsh lines or structures present in the pictures.
The idea behind this look is the representation of mankind through futurism and cyborg inspired makeup. In a world where humans are so involved in technology, industrialisation and developing such beings as robots there is clearly no part of these looks relating to nature. I want this look to be a complete oposite to a soft natural look to represent how in the future nature will play no part in our lives.
The colours are metallic and monochrome with some futuristic transformer like tones such as bright blue and vivid green.
