Cyborg/ Futuristic Look
Initial Designs
Mankind Vs Nature
Nature/ Wildlife
Having done a fair amount of research I was able to draw some initial designs with a pretty firm idea of the looks I wanted to create.
-
The eyebrows will be filled in black with black eyeshadow and an angled brush to apply from the make-up international eyeshadow palette.
-
Mac Studio Fix foundation on the face, a light pink blusher from the make-up international blusher palette in the shade Apricot.
-
Lips will be a mixture of LC001 +LC002 from the kryolan lip palette.
-
I will use a MUA black pen eyeliner to create the messy liner.
-
The neck piece will be a prosthetic.
-
The arm pieces will also be prosthetics.
-
The shoulder pieces will be costume.
I am looking to make horns for this make-up look however I am initially unsure of how I will make them and what materials I would make them out of as I imagine them to be quite large. I will use black eyeshadow from the make-up ointernational palette in a strip going across the eyes to the temples, this is to achieve a tribal/ hunter look.
I am unsure yet of costume and also I like the idea of using one model for all three looks to create a set of images so although I have sketched different models I am wondering whether to use one.
The idea for this look is still vague, I am looking to create flowers painted on the model with perhaps some bark coming up the arms that I practiced in the first bodypainting lesson of this unit. I need to do some more research for this look to determine what exactly it is I am hoping to achieve. But I also do not want to lose sight of the person underneath and covering the body takes away from the naturalness of the look; I want the model to look beautiful in her own right without covering her up with a huge amount of painting techniques.
