The Future of Robots

Technology influences human existence by bringing new risks as well as improvements to our lives. To try to minimize the likelihood of unwanted side effects of a new technology, humans will employ risk analysis.

Today, people are living longer and healthier lives thanks, in large part, to technological advances in the field of medicine.

With the improvement and advancement of technology, people would fall even deeper. Nanobots that would do your bidding and instant learning might also become available. Soon technology won’t be a part of life, it would become the way of life.

The risks listed before like laziness and memory loss would also play a part in technology domination. The other risks build up to technology domination which is the biggest risk of them all. Laziness would let technology do what we used to do. Memory loss means that we will need technology to remember the simplest things for us. Finally, loss of face-to-face interaction would let us become secluded from the rest of the world.

Technology could take over the world in around fifty years. Then all purpose of human life is over. People wouldn’t have a need to survive. Robots can do the farming, manufacturing and the driving. Robots would do everything that the humans used to do and that will be the end of human race. But the humans might have one chance to stop this ultimate risk from happening
.

Robotic engineers are designing the next generation of robots to look, feel and act more human, to make it  easier for us to warm up to a cold machine.

Realistic looking hair and skin with embedded sensors will allow robots to react naturally in their environment. For example, a robot that senses your touch on the shoulder and turns to greet you.

Subtle actions by robots that typically go unnoticed between people, help bring them to life and can also relay  non verbal communication.

Artificial eyes that move and blink. Slight chest movements that simulate breathing. Man made muscles to change facial expressions. These are all must have attributes for the socially acceptable robots of the future.

Advances in Robotics

Computer scientists have created machines that have the balance and agility to walk and run across rough and uneven terrain, making them far more useful in navigating human environments. There are so many advances in technology in todays society that anything seems possible. We may even  live in a world run by robots one day.
