Idea Brainstorming
Context
This was my first brainstorm of ideas about luxury items. I thought about materials, recognisable materialistic items that we familiarise with as money power and luxury. I thought about colour and how this effects our brains as in history certain colours were seen as luxurious for example reds and metallic colours because they were so rare and the dyes were so expensive to get hold of. Those colours we associate with royalty and the monarchy and has been a way of life many sought after.
After my tutorial I began thinking about harrods as a brand and thought about maybe making a mock advertisement campaign for them in some way or another. I brainstormed the type of items they sell and the departments they have to begin refining designs and thinking about the style of imagery I am looking to create.
