Prosthetic Application to create the 'Perfect Body'

The picture above shows me woking on the model applying prosaid onto the missed areas before hairdrying and sticking them down securely. This part of the application process definitely took the longest, the painting of the prosthetics was relively easy because I had pre coloured the geletine with silicone pigment.

I blended the edges away with strong witchazel. There was one area on the left breast that had an air bubble on the surface however this turned out not to be a problem because I filled it in as will be explained.

Here I am applying the geletine breast enlargement prosthetics to my model. Prepping the skin with vaseline is vital as hair grows all over the body and can painfully be ripped out when removing the prosthetic. I applied a decent layer of prosaid onto the back of the prosthetic, imprinted this onto the models natural breast and dried the two with a hairdryer.  Remaining professional throughout the process was important as the model was trusting me with her body.

Once the latex had dried it was time to paint the prosthetics. Coating the geletine in sealer is vital in preventing the paints from discolouring on the prosthetic.

By applying the liquid latex paste into the air bubbles and over the edge to bridge the gap the prosthetics appeared much more seamless. The latex dries transparent anyway so I was later able to just colour over the piece as normal.

The picture above shows the geletine breasts once glued down, the edges are still quite ridged and needed filling somehow. I mixed Liquid Latex and Latex Thickener together to create a paste like consistency.

I was extremely satisfied with the paint job on the prosthetics and in particular the nippes. It was difficult to envision how the nippes would look because I could only apply texture on the sculpt, there was no indication of what they would look like once painted.

I coloured the nipples with skin illustrator Midnight Brown makin sure to not apply the colour in a perfect circle as I required the breasts to look as naturally perfect as they could.

In the picture above I am colouring the prosthetics with skin illustrator. For the base of the breasts I applied a light wash of Rice Paper and Natural 1 skin illustrators with a hint of Pastel Yellow.

In the pictures below the model wears a push up bra, her natural breasts are cup C I have sculpted DD sized breasts.

I am extremely satisfied with the geletine breasts, the painting seems to match the models skin and the breasts actually appear realistic. It was dissapointing when the silicone breasts failed to work because I assumed it was my only option if I wanted the pieces to look realistic however I was wrong. Running the geletine pieces I dreaded the application and was certain the geletine would be too hard to blend and I would have to scrap the make-up all together. Yet Ithe geletine worked better than I ever would have anticipated.
