Inspiration

Above are some images of inspiration for the costume of my shoot. The first inspiraton came from the first image on this page. I saw the feather jacket on pinterest and instantly knew I wanted something like it for my shoot. I searched for months and decided I would probably have to make one but I knew it would take up too much time. Still seaching a few months later I found one that Topshop were selling for £135 I knew I had to buy it as it was what I had been looking for the whole time. I asked for some advice from a fashion stylist I work with and she helped me put together the look. I did have some advice but I had contacted a few people to work with but no one was available to do the fashion styling so instead I sent images for advice but I was pretty certain on the look I was going for anyway. I also work in fashion and retail so it was not the end of the world however I would really like to find someone for my major project but have done a few shoots with a particular fashion stylist since and am sure she will work with me for major project.

Above are the pictures of the bodysuit and the feather jacket I bought. This was the main part of the outfit but it worked really well in the shoot.

The jewellery really added to the look, I needed to use silver because I was using silvers in the make-up. This neck and shoulder piece worked great with the neckline of the bodysuit. The fake septum rings I was not sure of but I had seen a few pictures on instagram of people wearing them and they looked really different. It was last minute whether or not I would decided to use it but it actually added something to the face which I liked.

These are the boots that were used for the shoot. I wanted the outfit to be quite simple other than the feather coat so that it didn't distract from the coat too much. I also wanted my model to be wearing a bodysuit and did not want too much of the skin to be showing so these over the knee boots were perfect.
