Current Collections

Equinox

I love this collection because of the dark night theme it has to it with sparkling stars, sparkling eyes and heavy jewlellery. The way that this is advertised is with a set of similar images. I think I most like the way the images are set out with the head shot, this angle could show off the whole hair frame successfully and I also like the fact there is another closer up picture of the makeup.

Theatre of the Nameless

This is another one of illamasqua's current collections. I have noticed that the images are quite close up and the collection above has the logo floating in the image which is what I hope to achieve.

Paranormal

This collection is very colourful and similar to what I am looking to create collection wise however the colours will be all variations similar to the astrapia colourings. The images along with the colour is the kind of look my images will be similar to however the look in these is quite soft and wispy where as I am looking to create stronger images similar to the first collection.

Earth

The earth collection is full of rusty dark tones and is quite different to what I am looking to create, the images are more what I am looking at with this collection and it is the first time I have seen a 3d effect with the image to create the triangle around this centre. It is an interesting point of focus however I do not think I would like to create the same with mine as I do feel it takes away from the makeup side if there is a lot going on in the image like mine will have with all the feathers.

Illamasqua Collections

Toxic Nature

This collection shows the character make-up more than any of the others, the toxic nature images are particularly character driven even with the setting and background of the images. Again they are a set of images.
