The images above were an inspiration for the project as I began looking at colourful animals and focusing on skin and colours, I particularly found the birds and reptile skins the most colourful and interesting. I decided to look at reptile skins also, I particularly like the birds and the colours in them could be very interesting to replicate with hair. I might look into birds of paradise because they are also very colourful birds and it could be a great place to start.

Birds Vs Reptiles

Thought about how I could show the reptile skin through hair and I thought about how whether it would be best to use a wig or hair frame. I do like the textures very much and I did a design to see if I would like to use reptiles as a base of my projects however I then began looking at the birds of paradise and found a few species I liked much more than the reptile skins.
